What is the style of the invitation cards? How are the illustrations made?

The cards at Invitartes are drawn by hand with a digital pencil. Each portrait can have up to 2 people.

We make illustrations based on photographs sent by you (we recommend you to send us up to five pictures with different poses), via e-mail in .jpg or .pdf format, with a good resolution (not pixellated).

If you want to include extra elements or subjects in the portrait, please send a message with the additional requests to [email protected], and we will discuss and negotiate the extent of the changes.

The invitations will be printed on high-quality watercolor paper of 300 g, size A5 (148 x 210 mm). The illustration will be placed in the front of the card, and the back will have additional information about the event, the people involved, dates, etc., that you specify.

If, during the period of elaboration, you ask for modifications of the initial order, both parts will negotiate in good faith the additional work, which could entail a surcharge over the original place.

 

How must the reference photography look like?

In the order form you must attach a photography (maximum size 5 mb) of the person or people to be represented. It is very important that the subjects are recognizable in the portrait, therefore we ask you to send a picture with good lighting, with the faces clearly visible and without accesories or articles that could obscure the features.

We accept files with .jpg, .png, or .pdf, with good resolution (not pixellated).

 

How do I purchase the cards?

Once you have selected the amount of invitation cards you want (that has to match the number of guests at the event), click on "Add to shopping cart". You will be redirected to a page with the order details (MINI CART). The price in this page will not include the VAT, because this tax varies with the country and is added at the end.

 

How can I cancel the order in the shopping cart?

Before you make the purchase, check that every detail is correct. If, for example, the number of attendees is wrong, you can cancel the order clicking on the X icon next to the order.

The cart will be reset to 0 again, and you will be able to make another purchase.

 

How do we contact you?

In the last step, before making the payment, you will fill a form with your basic information, such as your name, address, e-mail, phone number, etc. After choosing the payment method and finishing the process, we will contact you as soon as possible.

 

How can I make the payment?

PAYPAL or CREDIT CARD:

  • If you do NOT have a PayPal account:

If you do not have a PayPal account, you can still pay via this platform, which is a simple and safe way to pay. You will have to give your credit card data, expiration date, confirm the contact information, and confirm the payment. THIS PROCESS WILL NOT CREATE A PAYPAL ACCOUNT (see more about this method here)

  • If you already have a PayPal account:

If you have a PayPal account, you will be asked to log in the payment platform. Then, you will be asked to select the payment source (PayPal fund, associated credit cards), and you will be ready to pay.

 

WIRE TRANSFER:

You can transfer the money to our account online or from your physical bank office. This is the most traditional method. In this case, once we will receive the payment, we will give you access to the forms to fill out with the information of the card. We recommend you to send proof of the transference to [email protected].

 

Terms and conditions of Invitartes.com:

In the last step of the purchase, you will have to accept the Terms and Conditoons of invitartes.com.

 

What shall I do after confirming the purchase?

We will send you a confirmation e-mail with a summary of the purchase, a link to a .pdf form, and a link to your account, where you will be able to see the state of your purchase.

Download the form to your computer and fill it out (with the kind of event, date, name of the protagonists, venue, etc.), choose the picture to be represented and sen it with a good resolution (not pixellated), and send all the files via e-mail to [email protected]

After this step, we will take charge, and we will send you the draft of the illustration or design via e-mail so you can check the content and proofread the texts.

 

In which step of the process are my invitations?

You can check the state of your order clicking on "My account" in the left side of the menu. There you will see your orders and the step of the process in which they are. Confirmation, 2 Drafts, 3. Invitation cards finished, 4. Sent).

We will notify you via e-mail when we move from one step to the other.

How long does the whole process take?

It takes from four to seven work days from the moment you send the form and the pictures to the completion of the sketch of the invitation, that we will send you via e-mail with the subject "Draft invitation card".

After you have revised and approved the illustration and the texts, the physical cards will arrive in a period from 2 to 3 weeks.

 

Can I see my invitations before printing them?

Yes. We will NOT send anything to print before getting your OK. We will send you a .pdf file with the ready-to-print images so you can check it out carefully and see if there is something you want to change (we recommend to pay special attention to names, contact information, addresses and any texts susceptible to typos or mistakes).

After your approval, we will send the file to print.

After this point, it will not be possible to make any changes anymore. In this case, Invitartes will not take any responsability of possible extra reprinting costs.

 

Can I cancel my invitations?

We contemplate four scenarios for reimbursement:

100% reimbursement Once the payment has been made, but before sending the filled-out form with the information for the illustrations, the client will be able to cancel the purchase and get a reimbursement of the whole amount.

60 % reimbursement If you have already sent us the form with the photography or the information for the invitations.

30% reimbursement Once the first draft of the illustration or design has been sent.

After the client receives the final .pdf file with the illustration or the design, the payment will not be reimbursable anymore.

 Once the payment has been made, but before sending the filled-out form with the information for the illustrations, the client will be able to cancel the purchase and get a reimbursement of the whole amount.

60 % reimbursement If you have already sent us the form with the photography or the information for the invitations.

30% reimbursement Once the first draft of the illustration or design has been sent.

After the client receives the final .pdf file with the illustration or the design, the payment will not be reimbursable anymore.
